Catherine joined the Retirement Resources Team in November 2012 as the Event and Marketing Coordinator. Cat brings an extensive background in event planning and hospitality.
Cat attended the University of Michigan – Flint where she was a University Contribution Nominee, President of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority and a philosophy tutor. She began her event career at the Palace of Auburn Hills where she spent a bulk of time as the Backstage Catering Manager in which she was responsible for hospitality services for touring acts as well as press and media catering for all Pistons Games. In 2010, Catherine took on the Senior Banquet Manager roll at Ford Field where she helped execute major events such as Kid Rocks 40th birthday party, Hob Nobble Gobble, and the annual Lion’s Luncheon.
Due to her son’s diagnosis of a type of dwarfism called achondroplasia, Cat is an active member of the Little People of America. She is also a patient advocate for parents with poor prenatal diagnosis and speaks to doctoral students at both Wayne State and the University of Michigan Ann Arbor on an annual basis. She was recently part of a patient symposium called “Living Little” for Oakland University Nursing Students. She and her husband Kelly reside in Grand Blanc with their two sprited boys Owen and Liam.
